eReefs

A window into the future of the Great Barrier Reef.

eReefs

#The project

The latest technologies and scientific data are combining in the six year eReefs project to create a suite of visual, communication and reporting tools for Reef managers.

Just as the Bureau of Meteorology does for weather, eReefs is delivering Reef water quality information online in near real time, enabling anyone to track the effects of storms, cyclones, floods and other impacts on the Reef.

The eReefs Marine Water Quality Dashboard is live on the Bureau of Meteorology website, accessible to everyone who manages and uses the Reef and needs to know about its water quality.
